Stacking up the competition: HBS Business Plan Contest and MIT $100k Competition

With business plan competition season in full swing, many of the “powerhouse” business schools are making special efforts to distinguish their contests from each other, and not just by the size of their prize pools. Two of these more visible competitions, the Harvard Business School Business Plan Competition and the MIT $100K Business Plan Contest are not only taking place at the same time, but also in the same vicinity. In his article “HBS vs. MIT for Startup Supremacy” Bart Howe lines the two schools up and discusses how they compare in their competitions and also in their approach to entrepreneurship overall.
