A sports-related twist on business plan competitions

A new business plan competition has been launched by the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and it’s taking a unique approach to stand out from the sea of other university-based business plan competitions. According to an article by Rich Laden of the Colorado Springs Gazette, the EPIIC business plan competition is open to college students from around the country who have a business plan for a sports, health or outdoor-related business. Teams can submit business plans that fall into one of 16 different sports-related categories, and will compete for a top prize of $20,000.
