Wisc. Governor’s Business Contest launches new companies
In “Building a dream at core of business plan contest” (JSOnline, Jan. 15, 2011), Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council and the Wisconsin Innovation Network, chronicles several of the success stories coming out of the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest and describes the benefits to the state. The contest has awarded more than $1 million in prizes to about 150 finalists in its first seven years.
