Marriott-owned Fairfield Inn & Suites is giving away 15 free nights to each of 10 finalists in its 2010 Small Business Boost Contest. Applications from eligible individuals–you work for a U.S.-based company with 100 employees or less, and travel a lot for business–must be submitted online by August 20, 2010.
Besides choosing the 10 finalists, five independent judges will be selecting one Grand Prize winner to receive $20,000 cash.
The hotel chain, whose slogan is “Staying is believing”, obviously wants you to believe that business travel and the Internet go together. Applicants will be judged not only on how they use business travel to meet specific business goals, but also on their use of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.
The finalists will have 3 months to use their 15 nights, and their activities during those 3 months will be the basis for the grand prize selection.
Fifteen nights is a fair bit of travel, and can get expensive even with free hotel rooms. Wouldn’t it be great if an airline partnered up to provide free airfares too?
