Who’s eligible: Generally open to anyone. Applicant teams may include individual or team applicants; no experience in education is required.
Major deadlines: Submission of executive summary is due by February 12, 2010. Finalists present in the competition finals in Philadelphia, PA around June 2, 2010.
Awards: A first place award of $25,000 and a second place award of $15,000.
Other Info: This competition judges educational business plans and encourages applications in every conceivable educational setting – from early childhood through corporate/adult training, in settings and contexts anywhere in the world. Both nonprofit and for-profit submissions are welcomed. Submissions can address issues of curriculum, instruction, educator professional development, assessment and evaluation, collaborations, learning design, technological innovations, learning/school support tools, and more.
